Friday Favorite: Tate’s Bake Shop Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies
I had lunch with my God Mother last week which was a special treat. I haven’t seen her for years, but we started exactly where we left off, chatting and gabbing hours away about everything and anything.
But her presence wasn’t the only treat of the day. She brought along a gift of Tate’s Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookies for me.
For those of you that haven’t tried these cookies yet, you must. These thin, crunchy cookies taste like homemade. Eating just one is almost impossible. They are just that good!
And best yet Tate’s has more varieties of gluten-free baked goods that I can’t wait to try including, double chocolate cookies, ginger zinger cookies, and gluten free brownies. All of Tate’s Bake Shop gluten free items are produced in a dedicated gluten free facility and are certified by the Celiac Sprue Association.

I LOVE these cookies too. A year or two ago my local market stopped carrying the gluten free (g/f) Tates cookies. When I inquired the store told me that Tates doesn’t make a g/f cookie. I’ve been buying and eating these cookies for over 6 mos. I wasn’t sure what to think as the store guy shook his head & saying “nope” (as if I was hallucinating the whole thing?).
There’s a good ending to this story. Within a very short time afterward, I was at Trader Joes & saw a suspiciously similar looking yellow (not green) bag of g/f chocolate chip cookies!!! Not only do they exists, they seem to be in endless supply and cost less!! 🙂

Hi JB – Your comment made me laugh… Maybe the store guy thought you were only dreaming about these delicious gluten-free cookies?! And good tip about checking Trader Joe’s for the cookies… Maybe Tate’s makes their private label cookies (?). I’m all for an endless supply of delicious and reasonably priced cookies!!!

I buy these at our Bed, Bath & Beyond and use my 20% coupon- a true bargain in my estimation!! Great cookies and save money at the same time!!

I think these thin crispy cookies may be my favorite GF cookies! I would love to win them!
