WIN-It-Wednesday: Divvies – Nut, Egg & Dairy Free Treats!

Some things in life are meant to be shared… A big bucket of popcorn, a chocolate bar, a batch of cookies, or a handful of brightly colored, sweet jelly beans.

Yup – these are the sweet things in life. The things that are meant to be divvied up amongst family & friends.

That’s why I’m so excited to share the news about Divvies. They make popcorn, cookies, chocolate bars, novelty candies and baking chips – all Nut, Egg and Dairy Free!

All of Divvies products are just screaming out to be shared! With a smile on my face, I enjoyed all the gluten-free products that Divvies sent my way – and then I got second smile after seeing the beams on the faces with those I shared with.  Sharing with Divvies gives the old adage, “One for you, two for me…” a whole new meaning.

I love the 3-gallon and 5-gallon popcorn bins – they are just the right size to feed a crowd, like a bunch of teenagers at a sleep-over, or a birthday party for a troop of little ones. The popcorn bins also come complete with scoop (no worries about dirty little fingers!) and individual festive bags for everyone that is sharing in on the treat.

Another one of my favorites from Divvies are the fun chocolates. Anyone that knows me, especially my sisters, recognize that I am a stickler when it comes to sharing my chocolate bars. That’s why the portion breaks on the Divvie’s bars made me smile with chocolate-glee! Two-thirds for me… One-third for you!

With Divvies the allergen-free everywhere can sit back and enjoy worry-free. All of Divvies cookies, popcorn and cupcakes (not including sprinkles and frosting) are made in the company’s-own dedicated facility where no peanuts, tree nuts, milk or eggs enter the doors. And Divvies uses ingredients that are certified allergen-free. Divvies candies, frosting, and sprinkles are certified by their manufacturers to be peanut-, tree nut-, milk-, egg-free, and sesame-free and are packaged in Divvies Bakery. Divvies conducts routine testing to minimize the risk of any cross-contamination in their certified allergen-free ingredients.

Items that are gluten-free include the chocolate bars, chocolate baking chips, novelty candies and two types of the popcorn (Kettle Corn & Carmel). Please note however that the Divvies products are not manufactured in a designated gluten-free facility.

Divvies is sponsoring this week’s BeFreeForMe WIN-IT-Wednesday. They are offering prizes to TWO (yes…2!) LUCKY WINNERS! The first prize is a S’morg gift box* that is all wrapped-up pretty with a big bow and jammed packed with chocolate caramel popcorn, caramel popcorn, a Divvine Chocolate BingGo bar, a peppermint & chocolate BingGo bar, super stars gummy candies, blue rock candy, and five two-packs of chocolate chip cookies. The second prize is a 3-gallon tub of the popcorn of the winner’s choice (Kettle Corn, Carmel or Chocolate Carmel)!

How can you WIN!

Easy!

Oh I hope I win!!! HEre’s how I share. While I may serve a meal to my children and eat the same thing myself, they will inevitably not eat off their own plates, but insist on eating mine. So, I serve one super large portion on my plate and share!

  2. Ahja Says:

Since finding out I could no longer include wheat in my diet, I have had to experiment, search and invent new food and recipes into my life. I have lost some weight as a result. Many friends and family members want to know how and I embrace the chance to SHARE the many fabulous websites, magazines, and products that help me to stay healthy. Funny thing is, most of my friends and family are amazed how GOOD the products are!! And I would definitely share that chocolate bar with a friend…

  3. Ellen Christian Says:

I blog every day to share my thoughts on life.

  4. Larc Bogdan Says:

One of the first books I read to my kindergarten class is called We Share Everything by Robert Munsch. It’s a great story! We strss that one of the things we don’t share is food, because of allergies, but on the whole, we share everything!

  5. Cindy Winther Says:

I recently made the BEST banana bread muffins with chocolate chips (GF). They were the best thing I’ve had in the last ten months since being diagnosed with celiac. They were so good, in fact, that I felt comfortable sharing them with the pastor at the church I work, who is undergoing treatment for cancer. It was so nice to feel I could make something GF that is delicious enough to share!

  6. Rita Says:

I wave at passing cars when I walk the dog, smile at people I pass, quilt for hospice and wounded soldiers and volunteer at the hospital twice a week. I share gluten free knowledge with newly diagnosed but mostly I share myself by listening to others.

  7. Janet LaRue Says:

I share my ear to my dear friends, my mind to my job, and my heart to my family. My time is shared all day between the dog at home, the house, my job working with kids, homework with my daughter or just laughing after school, cooking gf from scratch daily, and finally time with my husband later at night!

  8. Margaret Riddell Says:

I share my time with a speaker phone conversation with my daughter and grandson every morning. It is a great way to put a smile on my face-listening to my grandson babbling away and laughing with me.

  9. Casey Says:

When I wake up to a sunny day…I call my Grandma (who is 90!) to tell her that I am thinking of her and sending the sunshine her way. If I awake to find a gloomy day…I call her and ask her to spare some of the sunshine in her heart and share the wealth!

  10. Amy Says:

What a great prize for a GF mom and a son with a peanut/dairy allergy! My son and I share a moment as we brush our teeth in the morning, we grab our toothbrushes and sit on the edge of his bed singing: This is the way we brush our teeth brush our teeth brush our teeth. Some mornings we hold one another’s toothbrushes and brush the other’s teeth.

  11. Karla Thompson Says:

Every Thursday night I make something sweet (cake, cookies, muffins, brownies, etc.) all gluten free of course, for some friends that come to my house. We get together to share our thoughts, laughter, God’s word and something sweet to eat. It’s all in an effort to share God’s love with others. I love it and I they do too! Thank you for sharing this web site. It has helped me so much and I know of a lot of others it has helped too! Keep up the sharing.

    Karla

  13. R. Lee Says:

I am always willing to share recipes with friends, especially those that have met great culinary success. I have a friend who has Celiac’s disease and by fluke when looking for dairy free recipes I found some gluten free ones. I have shared them with him and he is very grateful.

I also share the bounty of my baking when I have too much. You can always tell if I like you if I am always giving you something tasty to eat!

  14. Michie Page Says:

I make GF goodies for my office and my younger brother.

  15. Paula Says:

In an attempt to connect with, and guide my children, I share my mistakes, and the lessons I learned the hard way with them. I don’t want to see them make the same mistakes, and they enjoy laughing at how silly their mom can be.

  16. Christine Says:

I love to share all the information I accumulate about healthy eating. We are what we eat.

  17. Sandy Bright Says:

I love the variety we have now on the gluten free diet. I like to share what I have learned with friends and family new to the diet. I share love, friendship, books, foods. Life is so much more fun when we have others to share with. I believe that what you give comes back to you. I would definitely share the Divvies if I won.

  18. Jenn Says:

I share my knowledge about gluten free diets with people on facebook, I share a listening ear to those that need it, I share my time by volunteering to work with preschool children who have special needs, i spend time with my local Phi Theta Kappa chapter members, and my heart to my family and friends.

  19. Giovanna Says:

    Hello to all,

I share my words of praise with the children in my son’s kindergarten class. I volunteer in his class and if good manners and good work is recognized at a early age the world will be kinder. Remember we are all different and all have so much to offer. One may color in the lines and the other out, each though has something we can learn, when to conform and when to just go with the flow. So share good comments, lift a person with praise and see what happens.

To a kind and productive day to all,

    Giovanna

  20. Diana Says:

    Yum! This looks so good.
I share my breakfast time with my mom every weekday. At 8:30 a.m. I call her and we talk for twenty minutes.
I try to share my gf food with my husband, he’s not so willing but at least I offer. 🙂

  21. Lisa Says:

Working in a school, I enjoy sharing my time with students everyday!

  22. Molly Says:

This is an awesome give-a-way. I share my time, my husband and I don’t’ have children yet, so that make me free to help others. I go and help my family in their time of need, I’ll go to my aunt and uncles house to make meals for my cousins while she is in the hospital, and stay there to get the house in order for a few days even though it’s far away. I’ll do the same with my parents or siblings if they need help or someone to just be there. I share my time at my church by putting on banquets. And I try to smile at people to share some of my joy and happiness!

  23. Lynnae Says:

I share enthusiasm for life, cooking (all gluten-free!), school, and whatever I’m involved in through Facebook, through conversations with my classmates, with friends and family and perfect strangers, and as often as I can interact with anyone! One of my favorite things to share is food, whether it’s something I’ve made or someone else has made. 😀

  24. SARAH Says:

I love this segment of your website!!!!

I love to share my newest gluten free finds with my Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin! We are always trying to find new recipies, websites, and products to give everyone. And now I will share something with all of you! My newest and favorite find has been Head Country BBQ Sauce!!! It is sooo good. Has the perfect amount of zing!

  25. Cathy S Says:

I share all my gluten free goodies with my son Dave who was diagnosed about a year ago. We have built a stronger relationship since we have the same concerns. We find great foods, and attend the Gluten Free Meet-up group in our area. The deal is he drives and I pay! And we get to spend some quality time with one another and meet new and interesting people!

  26. Terry Says:

Oh joy! Goodies, munchies and yummies and I can share with my Grandson if I need to. He doesn’t like Grandma’s GF stuff, but this he would share with me.

  27. Lori Niver Says:

I like to share a smile with everyone I see. It’s amazing how a smile and just saying hello can mean so much to people. I know how much it means to me, so share a smile and make someone’s day.

  28. Linda M. Says:

I share with my family and friends my time, my energy, my everything, by taking care of myself as well as them. I have learned this over the years that if I don’t take care of myself, I can’t care for anyone else. That is how I share with those around me.

  29. Erin H. Says:

I am a social worker and currently work with homeless, pregnant and/or parenting teens. Every day I go to work and give my best to try and make a difference in the lives of the teens and in the lives of their children. It is a thankless job but when they leave our housing, I know that they’re leaving having been treated with respect and dignity, possibly for the first time in their lives. I then come home to my family and am grateful for the little things that I have in my life… and the not so little things like having so many supportive people around me!

  30. Shianne Says:

I am a mother of 3 under the age of 4. Everyday I SHARE my whole self from head to toe.
I share my mind for answering all the “why” questions
I share my eyes to forsee the dangers in my kids actions (to know if they stand on the arm of the couch they will slide off and could hit their head ont he entertainment center)
I share my nose to tell when it is diaper changing time
I share my mouth to tell my kids and husband I love them
I share my shoulders for transportation of little ones
I share my chest to breastfeed my 5 month old
I share my arms for hugs when they are down
I share my hands for high fives when they are proud
I share my hips to carry my toddler
I share my legs to have dance party after naptime
I share my feet to give rides
But most of all I share my heart with those I love and without that I would not share any of the above!

  31. Susan C - AZ Says:

I hope I win. I love chocolate! I share my helpful ideas for gluten-free eating and living with all those that need the information. I give hugs to my friends and family. I also share my delicious home-cooked food (gf of course) with my hungry and grateful friends. I also share my time, attention, energy, care and love with those in my life that need it.

  32. Carol Asher Says:

Your products sound really yummy! My 6 year old GF grandson would really enjoy them, as well as I and my GF daughter. Who doesn’t enjoy sweets and chocolate especially!
I share all my days with my family and friends and co-workers. I especially like to share my GF products and recipes with my family members who have celiac (and those that aren’t!) and also with our local support group. We really enjoy sharing and knowing that we are safe to eat whatever is displayed on the table.

  33. Martha Clark Says:

I share my love for music everyday. I am a performer (string quartet, Recorder Consort, orchestra player) and a private teacher of strings, voice, recorders and viols in a small city. I donate my time to teach Kindermusik classes (these are music classes for newborns to 7 year olds and their parents.) for free. I have a student orchestra that I conduct every Sat. afternoon for free. The orchestra performs mostly in schools, (there is no string program in the schools here), nursing homes and churches. I keep my fees for private teaching very low so that any child can take lessons on a string instrument. I feel that music is part of what makes us human and that everyone needs music in their lives. I was just diagnosed with gluten sensitivity this past week, so I am trying to find out all I can about it and started changing my diet right away. All my students know about it now. They often bring me treats they have made especially around the holidays so I wanted to let them know why I couldn’t eat them. I can always share the goodies with other students.

  34. Jamie Says:

I share with my husband, family, friends and co-workers everyday. I speak to my mom twice a day at least and discuss all of my happenings since the last time I’ve spoken to her. Also, every night, my husband and I catch up and share our days with each other, whether good or bad.

  35. Linda Says:

How do I share? Every time my husband and I go out, we always order one item on the menu and split it. Therefore we both don’t overeat and go away from the table not stuffed. I really hope I win and can share the food with my hubby!

  36. Diane Says:

I try to share by making the best tasting food for the children. There is nothing worse than making and eating food that seems like it is missing something. When you find a good quality food or ingredient made by a company you can trust, there is nothing better. It is priceless to have great tasting food when on a special diet!
