I am a fan of PF Changs, and am very disappointed that this coupon offer is only for Facebook. Some of us do not want to participate in these social networking sites, and therefore are excluded from this offer.
Do you think this is really fair to your loyal customers?

Nothing is ‘fair’ in life. I would just create a FB account to get the freebie and then close the account. Its not hard.

Did you happen to check with PFC as to whether the offer actually includes the *GF* version of Lettuce Wraps? Often their offers do not extend to the GF version of various dishes. (I hope the answer is yes!)

They do a veggie version of the lettuce wrap? I’m a vegetarian (mostly vegan), and am always disappointed at the lack of non-meat choices, I hate to pay $16 for a bowl of steamed veggies; but am very grateful that there is some place I can take my daughter (both celiac, multiple and different allergies) to get fried rice, she never liked my attempts at re-creating fried rice (though curiously, most older people do, there must be something to that .. . .)
I’ll have to ask on a veggie version at mine, just for some options. . .

I saw a comment posted by PF Chang’s on their Facebook page that the coupon was good on the “Chicken, veggie or gluten-free” versions of the lettuce wraps. I never knew they had a veggie version either until I read that! I looked on their menu and do not see a “veggie” version of the lettuce wraps, but maybe it is a “special order”? It’s worth checking out while you are at PF Chang’s next time!
If I hear anything about this “veggie version” I will post back and let you know. You do the same too! =)

It really was a bummer! I think they mistakenly gave me a “gluten version” of the lettuce wraps instead of GF. I used to love eating at PF Chang’s…..but now I’m afraid to go back. I was extremely ill for a week. It was such a painful experience, that I’m scared to even try it again.

Theresa- That’s a bummer, I know. Getting glutenized is the worse. It’s so hard to forget the feeling. I bet though if you did return and ask for the manager and tell her/him what happened they’d be extra careful… just an idea.

Yes, I thought the same thing you suggested….return to PF Chang’s and tell them what happened…and hopefully they would be extra careful and it might never happen again. I’ve been dying to go there….but then always get nervous and go someplace else instead!!
